In recent simulations we have found that for the spherical molecules the diffusion constant shows oscillatory variations, with minima occurring for well-formed layered configurations. Furthermore, the diffusion constant decreases significantly, and in a rather abrupt manner, for film thicknesses smaller than six layers (Gao, J.; Luedtke, W. D.; Landman, U., to be published).
