    • It is easy to see, however, that our numerical results for the localization length (Fig. 1) are incompatible with the perturbative renormalization group theoretic result of Refs. 11 and 17 which predict all states to be localized in the system with a localization length given by ξ (E)= exp [r2g2(E)] where g(E) is the mean field conductance. Our largest system sizes are larger than the ξ (E) predicted by this formula around E agt -3.0, and, therefore, our finding of a mobility edge around Ec approx -3.0 may have some significance transcending the conclusion of Ref. 13.
