    • In order circumvent analytical problems arising from the presence of small amounts of tert-butylethane present in most commercially available tert-butylethylene, 99.98% tert-butylethylene from API Standard Reference Materials, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, was used in this study.
