    • Let met note that Eqs. (5.7) and (5.8) from Ref. 3 are erroneous. However, the final expression of damping rate (6.43) is correct since the terms which are missing in (5.7) and (5.8) do not contribute when k -> 0. It is also worthwhile pointing out that for a one-component plasma, e.g., quarkless plasma, the equilibrium rate νg in the kinetic equation leads to a damping decrement γ = 1/2 νg in contrast with the treatment in Refs. 3 and 16, where the relation γ = νg has been assumed.
