Along the transport direction, α-6T has a herring-bone-type molecular arrangement. The crystal structure is described in (4) and in T. Siegrist et al. [J. Mater. Res. 10, 2173 (1995)]. We take for the intermolecular spacing the nearest distance between adjacent molecules, which is ∼3.8 Å.
