This survey, which was sent to the GOVDOC-L listserv, sought to determine how many depository libraries maintain separate documents reference points, do not maintain a documents reference point but provide specialized documents service at other reference points, or expect some level of documents expertise from all reference staff. Two hundred and thirteen libraries responded, 16 percent of all depository libraries.
