    • After acceptance of this paper a report appeared on the preparation of (Me2N)2PH by a different method, namely the reduction of (Me2N)2PX (X = CI, F) by the sterically hindered LiBH(CHMeEt)3 ("L-Selectride", Aldrich) at -23 °C. When it is warmed to room temperature, (Me2N)2PH decomposes. See: Snow, S. S.; Jiang, D.-X.; Parry, R. W. Inorg. Chem. 1985, 24, 1460.
