    • An irreversible (peak) oxidation potential of 1.44 V vs SCE (1.68 V when converted vs NHE) was recorded for DBO in acetonitrile with tetraethylammonium perchlorate as the supporting electrolyte. This is in good agreement with previous measurements: (a) Nau, W. M.; Adam, W.; Klapstein, D.; Sahin, C.; Walter, H. J. Org. Chem. 1997, 51288.
