In an experiment (using the D2 line in atomic Cs) reported in 10., (g, k,γ)/2π = (20,75,5) MHz were achieved. Current experiments in our group have (g, k,γ)/2π = (120,40,5) MHz. Note that the D1 line has a small decay rate γ/2π = 4.5 MHz as compared to the D2 line. For the work of 1., the transit time T = 150 μs
