30. It has been argued that the nonlinearity of magnetization curves of (Formula presented) may result from the presence of paramagnetic impurity ions [H. G. Lukefahr, O. O. Bernal, D. E. MacLaughlin, C. L. Seaman, M. B. Maple and B. Andraka, Phys. Rev. B 52, 3038 (1995)]. In Fig. 1 it is seen that nonlinearity evolves continuously with larger x in (Formula presented), so it is probably an intrinsic effect. However, impurity effects can occur; there- fore, the stronger argument is given by a scaling analysis of the specific heat.
