23. We have measured the CD spectrum of the DNA film which was treated in phosphate buffer solution in a similar way in EB solution. No negative Cotton effect was observed at 300 nm. This indicates that the valley at 300 nm in Figure 4b was due to the intercalation of EB into the DNA film.
