    • One unit of R= 4 π αQED2/ 3 s, the point cross section for e+e--> μ+μ-. For an integrated luminosity of 1040~ cm-2 at a center-of-mass energy of 300 GeV, 1 ~ R = 9600 events.

    • To evaluate electroweak effects, we have used the parameters mZ= 91.17 GeV, mW= 80.00 GeV, mb= 5.0 GeV, and sin2θW= 0.235. Of these parameters, only mW has a significant effect on the $tt¯ cross section, through its influence on the top-quark width.
