39. On the cluster of 16 sites the ground state of two holes is (Formula presented)-wave for all the values of (Formula presented) investigated here. For the case of 20 sites, note that the (Formula presented) and (Formula presented) character of the undoped and two hole ground states are interchanged with respect to the 16 site cluster. This effect appears even in (Formula presented) clusters and it is not a problem since the operator that links the undoped and two-hole cases is always (Formula presented)-wave. For details see A.
