33. 3 MEFs, in three independent experiments, were distributed on 60-mm dishes, and the number of colonies (> 10 cells) was scored after 8 and 16 days (14). For cell cycle analysis, subconfluent cultures of MEFs were labeled for 4 hours with 10 μM bromodeoxyuridine (BrdU) (Sigma) and analyzed by two-dimensional flow cytometry (14).
