8. Schmidbaur et al. have also reported the preparation of oxo complex 3: Kolb, A.; Bissinger, P.; Schmidbaur, H. Z. Anorg. Allg. Chem. 1993, 619, 1580. However, the reported spectroscopic and analytical data match those of our hydroxo complex 4.
