    • This is a quite interesting finding as nucleobases have generally a very weak tendency to give hydrogen-bonding associations in aqueous solutions. Strong H-bond connection between base pairs is therefore a unique characteristic of the micellar organization that resembles polynucleotide behavior. This shows that micelles are proper models for the base-base interactions in nucleic acids.
