    • There is, however, a small region of the parameter space, corresponding to a small MHsup pm ( sim 100 GeV) and large tan β ( : raisebox-0.5ex{ stackrel textstyle>{ sim: 40) as well as |μ| ( : raisebox-0.5ex{ stackrel textstyle>{ sim: 500 GeV), where the Hsup pm mediated decay ( ref27) may dominate over the W mediated decay ( ref25). The first two conditions ensure that the suppressions from the Hsup pm propagator and decay vertex are not very large. Moreover, the last two conditions imply GL,R ll FL,R, since N12 ll N13,14 and U12 ll U11 (V12 ll V11) in this region cite13. Consequently there may not be a viable LSD signal in this corner of the parameter space.

    • There is also a LSD background from b bar b via missing pT. But it is strongly suppressed by the isolation cut on the leptons cite10. Moreover, there is very little missing pT accompanying this background. Several other sources of the LSD background have been discussed by Baer et al. cite12.
